Samhain has many names--The Day of the Dead (not to be confused with Dia de la Muertos), Pagan New Year's, All Hallows Eve or Hallow'een, and the Final Harvest. The reason it's called the Final Harvest is because by now everyone should have reaped what they've sown in the fields.
